Halogen Glow   Year: 1997 | Run Time: 3:33

Written by Bill Mallonee for CyBrenJoJosh (BMI)

this one's here for all my friends with whom i have lost touch
please don't take it so personally shouldn't count on me for much
i could tell the first pitch it did not have my stuff
i could tell by the second pitch that this ride would be rough

you learn not to telegraph much
from the mound from which you throw
in the halogen glow

the earth is black and fertile from the parts i hail from
i could always throw a baseball from here to kingdom come
the ragged edges of this diamond the blistered circumstance
i found this hunger that would kill you if given half a chance

america america i'm learning your parlay
riches going to riches and rags of us just fade away
now all my symptoms have been treated i've got holes in my veins
so this one's here for all my friends the few that still remain

Did You Know?
