Vigilante of Love
Apparently Vigilantes guitarist Newton Carter and drummer Travis McNabb played their final concert with Bill Mallonee at Smythes ol' Bar in Midtown Atlanta on December 3rd. This and the departure two months ago of bassist David LaBruyere leave an unclear picture of what will become of the name "Vigilantes of Love," but Bill and a band are apparently planning to record an album in January for an April release.
Rumors reported on USENET (of unknown origin, by the way) suggest that the band may include former Lone Justice bass/mandolin player Marvin Etzioni and long-time member of Bruce Cockburn's band, Chapman stick player Fergus Jemison Marsh.
